CAE has been a longstanding partner since 2008. CAE is a globally recognized training and mission systems integrator. As a high technology company, they provide training and mission support solutions across multi-domain operations – air, land, maritime, space, and cyber.
Qualtero is CAE’s subcontractor for the delivery of Fox as a Training Management System for multiple training operations. CAE also uses Fox as its own Training Management System at the Dothan Training Center.

- Canadian Air Force (AFIILE)
CAE is our partner with the Canadian Air Force (AFIILE). Fox is deployed at 23 training schools, annually overseeing 18K trainees and managing approximately 400 aircraft, 180K hours of pilot simulator training, and 14.5K force personnel. Within AFIILE, Fox supports planning, training schedule administration, resource management, and learning proficiency.
CAE is our partner for the US Air Force C-5 Aircrew Training System (ATS) project.
The US Air Force uses Fox to replace their legacy GTIMS System and will manage and deliver training for the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy aircrafts through Fox’s innovative features for Training Optimization and Learning Management (LMS).
- Royal Canadian Air Force’s Maritime Helicopter Program (MHP)
CAE is our partner for the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Maritime Helicopter Program (MHP). the MHP uses Fox to add enhanced process and output management capabilities, streamline scheduling and resource management, deliver reliable certification/qualification management; improve trainee evaluation and feedback mechanisms; and automate and standardize training event task workflow management.
Since 2008, the Fox Training Management System has been a significant component of the Royal Canadian Air Force Integrated Information Learning Environment (AFIILE), the standard suite of training tools mandated for use in all its training programs.
- 4th Operations Group, of the U.S. Air Force
CAE is our partner for the 4th Operations Group, of the U.S. Air Force. The 4th Operations Group (4 OG) is a direct descendant of the World War II 4th Fighter Group. The implementation of Fox is led by our partner, CAE US. Fox has been selected by the 4 OG to manage its squadrons’ entire training operation.
Fox is the comprehensive training management system at the CAE USA Dothan Training Center, a 79,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art aviation training facility, which provides annual training to U.S. Air Force C-12 Huron pilots and Army recruits to begin their fixed-wing training.
CAE is our partner for the implementation of Fox for the FWSAR. CAE has undertaken a three-year In-Service Support (ISS) transition period for the C295W aircrew and maintenance to design and implement their training program. The program includes training device upgrades and maintenance, hardware and software engineering, and more for the aircrew and maintenance training.
The complex nature of the C295W aircraft entails comprehensive, specialized training, including classroom instruction, simulators, and practice missions. The Fox solution will manage and optimize all the scheduling, curriculum and qualification management, resource planning, and more, in addition to integrating specific requests unique to the Airbus C295W training.

Fox oversees CAE’s management of classrooms, simulators and flights through automated training scheduling and resource management. Fox’s analytical dashboards and powerful report generator provide training insights to improve operations. Fox oversees training and curriculum management to accurately define job tasks and skills and develop curriculum and training materials.
CAE uses Fox’s performance and grading modules with evaluation tools, a test generator and feedback mechanisms to drive performance and achievement. Fox is used for test development and delivery, improving accuracy, standardization, efficiency and data analysis.
Fox manages CAE’s instructor and trainee qualifications, ensuring they acquire and maintain the requisite skills. Fox’s LMS supports the Center’s integrative learning activities to meet trainee learning objectives. In addition, CAE uses Fox’s mobile app for both instructor and trainee scheduling, record management, training access and grading.
